Infrastructure
We at Gemsons Precision Engineering Pvt Ltd. have a modern CNC Machine Shop with the State of Art Measuring Equipments for Inspection and Measurement. Our facility is equipped with an Inward and Sawing area, CNC Turning Section, Hi-Speed Machining, CNC Milling section, Cell Type Manufacturing Systems, Ultra Precision Turning section. We also have capabilities for machining on Long Shafts, Large Diameter Flanges, EDM machining and Gun Drilling.
We also have a cell for Precision TIG Welding, Assembly area, Toolroom and a well equipped and trained staff to work on Secondary Operations, Ultrasonic Cleaning, and Packing department. We do specialise in Dye Penetrant testing, Ultrasonice Crack detection test, Magnetic Particle and Radiography testing. We keep Inhouse stocks for many of our customers with short leadtimes.
We practise Lean Manufacturing concepts from the past several years and our work force is a team of highly trained and committed individuals. Both of our manufacturing units maintain a perfect and healthy work environment and strictly go by the Government Norms and regulations. Our organisation is EHS compatibility and we follow a world class approach for requirements of Environment, Health and Safety. We provide each project with a distinctive quality of work culture along with technical expertise and inputs for design change and cost saving to our customers.

CAD / CAM Technology
Gemsons utilizes the latest in CAD/CAM technology. Our MasterCAM Software enables us to design and simulate 2D/3D models & components.These designs can then be used to program machining codes. Our infrastructure allows import of various formats such as DWG, IGS, DXF into our CNC programming database. We can run detailed machining simulations and time studies.
Thereafter modifications can be made to the machining run. This ensures foolproof testing of the machining process even before the actual machining can commence.Gemsons uses its CAD/CAM facilities to design its own Jigs, Fixtures, Special tools and gauges.
We use AutoCAD to generate our own Process Drawings & Process Sheets.Our machines are all connected to our MasterCAM network, where we can verify tool path & edit programs by loading & unloading programs to the machine controllers. All programs are Stored on the PC & backup is maintained on our Inhouse Server All data is interfaced at every level through our LAN network.

Cutting Section
The Cutting Section is equipped with bundle-cutting band-saw machines. We currently use fully automatic bundle-cutting band-saw machines that are capable of cutting an extensive range of materials accurately and fast.We currently cut material upto 330 mm diameter
Fitting & Assembly Section
The fitting and assembly section handles the final assembly and packaging of all products before they can be shipped to the respective clients. All secondary operations like deburring, tapping, drilling, polishing & ultrasonic clearing it's done here.
We use product special jigs, fixtures and assembly aides to ensure perfection in all the assembled components. The packaging is done as per customer specific norms in accordance with the shipment requirement and quantities.
Special jigs and fixtures required for this purpose are usually fabricated in-house to ensure correctness of all relevant parameters. As in all other sections of our company, skilled hands are employed in this section to facilitate fault-free fitting, inspection & packing.Once the final product is ready, it is inspected as per sampling plans using requisite gauges, Instruments and then packed and forwarded to the despatch section, which handles dispatches to all customers, as per schedule.

Tool Room
Gemsons Precision Engineering Private Ltd., is having a setup in the name of Thomson Ralph Engineering Co., established in 1964 as a Tool-Room in the manufacture of jigs, fixtures, dies, special gauges and assemblies etc.The tool room is equipped with skilled manpower along with conventional machines having Digital Read-Outs (DRO). Facilities include Jig-Boring, Surface Grinding, Milling machines, Centre Lathes, Wire EDM, Cylindrical Grinding machines etc.. It is now located at a new premises near the main facility.
The Tool-Room manufactures toolings, fixtures, undertakes development of components and supports our CNC machine shop. It has extensive dedicated experience in tool design and manufacturing.It has its own team of professionals and support staff with multi-disciplinary skills. Our Tool Room is equipped with the necessary facilities, machinery and skilled manpower to meet the stringent requirements
